The opportunity
Invoice preparation drew on timesheets, agreement terms, shift classifications, guaranteed-hour rules, overtime calculations, and callback scenarios. The repeated work was a strong automation candidate; the financially important judgment needed to remain visible.
The system
The workflow ingests source records, enriches them with agreement terms, applies deterministic billing rules, prepares draft invoices, and records the evidence behind each decision.

The operating design
